Pilates Classes

Pilates is a form of exercise designed to strengthen the core of the body with low-impact exercises and stretches. Our Pilates focuses on 9 principles: Breathing, Concentration, Control, Centering, Flow, Postural Alignment, Precision, Relaxation, and Stamina.

The overall nature of Pilates easily allows for modifications to be made based on different fitness levels. This makes it great for anyone with limited exercise experience or even someone with physical limitations. This doesn’t mean it’s an easy class though, as advanced variations can be quite challenging!

Pilates can be therapeutic, but our classes are designed to be a workout, not an actual therapy session.

Pilates can help improve core strength, mobility, and flexibility, while improving muscle tone, muscle density, and overall body awareness. It also puts emphasis on breathing, balance, and engaging your core muscles.

If you just wish your body would feel and move better, Pilates is for you!
